New Steel Frame Color Option: Lvl 3 Otho Green

We are always questing for new colors and rotating our steel finish options. When Hannah wanted to paint her new Terlingua something that felt from the forest and she found this new green! The look in the shade is very dark, but in the sun the color is a warm frog and/or toad green with golden highlights that pop. The metallic flake is very fine and the finish with the clear coat on top shows as a nice high gloss. We think it pairs well with the gold chrome graphics and anodized Industry Nine components. It could go silver, orange, or blue though as well!

Hannah's DOOM Ultra Race Sendero Ti

This weekend Hannah is already mid-race in the Ozark mountains of Arkansas at DOOM 2024! You can view the tracker here and follow the race. Hannah used a similar Sendero Titanium setup for the Atlas Mountain 800 recently, but with a few changes for this route.

Hannah’s Sendero Ti is adorned with custom Anodizing and a South City Stichworks bag-set.

Hannah recently became sponsored by Klite so we installed a really sweet setup for front and rear lights.

A lightweight front bracket allows the headlight and Garmin GPS to be mounted well above a handlebar bar. On the rear of the mount is a toggle switch. Klite’s system allows you to push all the charging to the USB or split it to also run the headlight/tail light.

Klite systems come in 2 different beam configurations. One for gravel with a longer narrower light throw and one for mountain with a wide cast. Dan wrote a great article on how to choose a dynamo light system over at our new sister company Stoke Custom Wheels check it out!

Fresh Wolf Tooth Fatpaw grips and Cane Creek Ergo Bar-ends are a Team Chumba Bikes favorite combo. Reliable Magura stoppers on this bike are also being used by the Strempke’s and Vince on their bikes.

Being on a size small-ish frame Hannah has opted to run a rear rack and dry bag vs. a seat bag. This allows her full use of the wireless AXS dropper post and a stable place for her gear. The rack is the Old Man Mountain Elkhorn. Note she has this mounted via the rear axle which is our preferred method. The gear sits lower and it has a really strong interface to the axle. If the bike falls over there is also less chance the rack can damage the frame this way.

Hannah is also sponsored by Cane Creek and is running the Helm MKii Air 120mm travel suspension fork. This fork is very tough and super reliable. We’ve had lots of success with our other team riders trail riding and ultra-racing this fork as well. Known for its small bump compliance and the incredible stiffness of the chassis, the Helm delivers superior handling compared to anything else we have tested.
