After recovering from her 3rd place finish last month in the 800mi Atlas Mountain Race Hannah Simon has set out on a wild race schedule this March.
She just competed in the Mid South 100mi rolling out a 3rd place finish in the singlespeed women’s event. Last weekend she won the women’s East Texas Showdown 400mi. Next up, this weekend is the challenging gravel DOOM 408mi event in the Ozark mountains of Arkansas.
A true showcasing of the versatility in our line up Hannah rode her bikes in a variety of configurations suited to success for each event.
Below is Hannah’s Terlingua Steel setup for the Mid South 100. For the East Texas Showdown she added a 1x12 Sram Force XPLR drivetrain. For both of these events she rode Industry Nine’s exciting brand new Solix Carbon gravel wheels, a Rudy suspension fork and a Cane Creek eeSilk seatpost.
For the Atlas MTN Race and this weekend’s DOOM event she is using the Sendero Titanium. Even cooler, Hannah fabricated her frames during her daily work her as a Chumba production assistant! More to share on that soon along with a fun video we are working on. Stay tuned, she is just getting warmed up!
A shout out to Dan (160mi), birthday boy Austin (400mi singlespeed), and Vince (400mi) who completed their ETS races as well!
Thanks to the Bikes Or Death East Texas Showdown crew for a great event and Maxwell Johnston for the photos.
