The Silk Road Mountain Race is a grueling, unsupported cycling race through the mountains of Kyrgyzstan. It features a fixed route with varied terrain, including gravel, single and double track, and old Soviet roads. The race is known for its challenging distance and elevation, with approximately 1900km and 30,000m of climbing. Riders expect to take around 14 days to complete the route with limited resupply points.
